Visitors/Friends!

We had friends come visit! What fun we all had too. As you can see, my friend Leana and her family came up for the weekend, and we did a little bit of everything! Our adventures started with sleepovers! The kids were all so excited to have a sleepover at my house, and can I brag that they were amazing?! They all went to bed when we said to, and more importantly went to sleep! I think they were all exhausted from all of the outings we went on.

On Friday morning, Josh and Brian went to work together while Leana, the kids and I took our first Ferry ride with the car! I was a little nervous that I wasn't going to know where to drive/park but it really was as "idiot proof" as Josh said it would be. As you can see the kids were excited.

After the ferry adventure it was off to the zoo (we did have another adventure before the zoo, but that is for another post). It was the most beautiful day for the zoo! The sun was shining and it was so warm. We had a blast, and spent the ENTIRE afternoon walking around taking it all in.

Just a few of our animal friends. My favorite quote of the day was when they saw this chipmunk in the trash can. "Look Mom, a REAL chipmunk!"

I am pretty sure all the other animals were real as well, but this was pretty cute! It was a great day, with great company. We were worn out when all was said and done, but with smiles everywhere.

The next day had us heading to City Center for some fun in the middle of everything! I didn't get many pictures of this day because Josh wasn't able to come along (he had to pack for Oklahoma) so it was only three adults to four kids. It was a great adventure. We took the monorail (or the sky train as Ben calls it), and then the kids had a blast at the Family Fun Center in the middle of everything. Basically it was a small fair (only cheaper in my opinion). The rides were great, and everyone (moms included) loved the ice cream when we were done for the day.

It was so much fun having adventures with friends, and we are so happy that the Mortons were able to come spend some time with us!
